Our Team

Brandon Rowe

Brandon grew up skateboarding and riding BMX bikes in Shushan, NY with his brothers. He now lives in Castleton, VT with wife, Eryn and two kids. He got into mountain biking in 2016 and never looked back. You’ll find him working at the shop and repairing bikes. When he’s not here, he enjoys riding the trails at SVT, adventure riding with homies and spending time with family. He looks forward to inspiring others to ride.

Eryn Rowe

Eryn grew up in Rupert, VT. She’s fairly new to cycling and loves mountain biking, gravel riding and the wonderful community. She spends most of her time managing Lake Bomoseen Lodge & Taproom and enjoying time with family, but you’ll find her at the shop on occasion. She’s excited to bring mountain bike services and supplies to Poultney and can’t wait to see how the shop grows.

Caitrin Maloney

In addition to her role at Porcupine Bikes, Caitrin is co-owner of The TrailHouse and Sustainable Trailworks, along with her husband Hardy. The TrailHouse offers cycling camps for women and camping through HipCamp. Caitrin and Hardy are currently spearheading a multi-year trail development project at the Slate Valley Trails. Caitrin loves riding all the bikes, sharing her passion for cycling with other women through coaching, and is always up for a ride. She also enjoys gardening and backcountry skiing. Hardy Avery

Hardy has a long history as a mountain biker and trail advocate in VT. Porcupine Bikes is bringing Hardy back to his roots as a co-owner of Irie Cycles. He also co-owns The TrailHouse and Sustainable Trailworks along with Caitrin. Hardy has built trails across Vermont, including many trails at Cady Hill Forest in Stowe, Perry Hill in Waterbury, and Blueberry Lake in Warren. He has led the design and construction of more than 40 miles of trails at Slate Valley Trails over the last 5 years. Hardy is an avid adventurer, instigator and overall bike fiend. Follow him on a ride and you’ll no doubt end up tired and inspired. He also enjoys backcountry skiing quite a bit, and eating those fresh veggies that Caitrin grows.
